February 2013 Acrylic paint, gesso, vintage and personal images, tissue images, matt medium, image transfer. How does one develop depth? It doesn't happen over night. It develops over time. Experimenting, living, learning, working, failing, uncovering, discovering.
I have always enjoyed birds. Birds are beautiful and free. I love watching them and listening to their song in my garden. Birds build their nests with things they find. We should build our journals with things we find, they add interest, depth, mystery, beauty. Be as free as a bird.
