I am excited to say that I have moved my blog here to my new website, briankasstle.com. My dear friend Tom helped to build my new website. And if I do say so myself he did an absolutely amazing job! Going forward all my posts will be here.

About the above spread, if you have followed my blog you know journal covers are very important to me. For me, my art journal covers are collectors of moments my life. A little purecourors to what is inside. I look at this spread and I see treasured time with John, memories of a fun weekend with my partner Ed in Portland, and another together in Las Vegas.  Another treasured memory of a creative weekend with Orly. And here and there are just reminders of my every day life I personally treasure. As time goes on the cover changes. Things get covered over and they get splattered with paint and matt gel over time.
