I am taking part in my friend Seth Apter’s Studio Table blog hop.
My studio table 17 September 2014
Here is my table today 17 September 2014 as it is. While this is my designated art “space” I rarely work up here, currently we are in a heat spell and it is about 100+ degree’s in our upstairs office/art studio where this desk resides. I generally work downstairs on our large marble counter top in our kitchen or outside on my favorite spot our patio table.
Let us see your studio table
I can’t believe how long it’s been since I was last here. I can certainly understand the heat. It’s been hot here, too, although they tell me cooler temps are on the way. That’s the time I head for a cooler spot, just as you do. Nice to see where you “normally” work, though.
Wow! Thank you for stopping by Elizabeth!!!!
As I recall John and I did a pretty good number on the counter top!
I share your pain re the heat, though Rhode Island has had a lovely cooler than normal summer – in my previous apartment I had no a/c so it was definitely a struggle –
Your ‘studio table’ is so colorful and inspiring Brian, and I love seeing that you keep your creative books close at hand…at least I’m guessing that the books are creative ones!
I also appreciate your candid remark that you ‘rarely’ work in this ‘designated’ art space! I have long struggled with the reality that while I have had ‘designated creative space’, I always seem to work elsewhere! It poses an interesting question of why that might be =)
Thanks for sharing your studio table with us all!
Oh the creating that goes on there, right?
You are such a fine artist Brian, I admire you!
Plus, you are kind!
Love this Brian, what a great place to create!

Nice seeing all those books in the back. Working in the kitchen is great fun too, right near the coffee pot. xox
Definitely way too neat! I’m going to have to hang my head low.
working in that sort of heat would be awful… I certainly hope that it has cooled down for you by now… your table looks inviting though
Nice to see your space!
Awesome! Thanks for sharing! I recognize a couple of the storage elements in your studio… 🙂
Thanks for sharing, I am so nosy I wanna see what’s in the drawers below lo!!!
