I am almost to the end of this journal. I actually love the feeling of completing a journal, I do not feel sadness at completing a journal. I am on to the next journal. Truth be told, I am actually thinking of the next journal after that – I want to create a big thick, chunky journal in the style of Tracy V. Moore. Back to the present. Please enjoy some of my spreads from my recent mini journaling self-retreats up to San Jose, California.
I also wanted to send you a little blog love. I have a friend John, he lives in Washington, near Seattle. He’s just retired and he’s started a fabulous art blog, artjuvenation. Go have a look and say hello to John. Also Hagit Azoulay Rozanes has started an art journaling blog, not just any art journaling blog but one in Israel, in Hebrew, www.yomanihayakar.co.il.
I feel heated by your work. For some reason I feel like I am looking at the colors of an oil spill on the driveway. The purple is so lush with the mixture of reds. Or it is like the palette exploded and is just in an uproar. Really excellent!
Thanks so much for mentioning my blog, Brian!
So lush and rich, great finale Brian for this journal. More riches to come in another.
Yes, John’s blog is fascinating, love his ever evolving visual story.
Hagit’s new blog is a revolutionary one, one that brings art journaling to the forefront of the Israeli ‘scene’. It is in indeed in Hebrew, for English speakers there is lots to enjoy too through the images.
