White and black gesso, Nova color paints, Tim Holtz Distress Reinkers.
I had the most wonderful opportunity to co-teach with Orly Avineri on September 5-6, 2015 in our class “Backgrounds/Foregrounds”. Which meant so much to me since Orly gave me my start in art journaling. I taught the “backgrounds” and Orly taught the “foregrounds”.
I love this spread so much, its strength in simplicity…and I love your kind words…loved loved teaching with you and loved how backgrounds replaced foregrounds and vice versa in a fluid way…there is something symbolic about that…XOXO
William’s comment up here? didn’t love so much…
Really loving this Brian…
Thank you Tom! Hugs!
If you can’t be in the foreground, you might as well be in background!

Oh, amazing! It looks like the “supermoon” we had in Germany on monday night 🙂
Beautiful, Brian!
A dynamic duo for sure!
superbe!
I love the contrast between the two pages of the spread. Very effective with the balance between the writing and the circle shapes.
