I spent two and a half wonderful days on Whidbey Island. Two days of teaching at the Pacific Northwest Art School teaching my art journaling class, “Personal Images”. I had a wonderful assistant Pam who drove me where I needed to go, fetched our meals and Lisa Bernhardt, the director of the school has created a wonderful place to teach. I can’t wait to go back. Whidbey Island is so picturesque and quaint. I stayed with my hosts the Steves’ at their 120 year old inn. I had a lovely, very comfortable room.
After I was finished I spend a wonderful day and half with my dear friends John and Tim at their home in Mount Lake Terrace. Monday we spent the day creating and just free art journaling on our own, with some wonderful friends. The top spread, “Listen to me” was started there, and completed here at home.
All so beautiful Brian, the artwork, the photos, the memories, this place is truly magical..so glad you enjoyed the experience through and through…Love.
It lloks like the workshop was wonderful, and Whidby Island as well. Now I want to visit there more than ever. And your journal spread – fantastic!
i’m listening, Brian, and enjoying.
I could just stare at this for hours – so inspiring.
