Spread 104 – Four in 1
26 August 2012
Vintage wallpaper, Panther stamp, vintage and personal papers, acrylic paint, Signao white gel pen, black ink pen.
And on the last day of our journaling journey with Orly Avineri in San Diego, the memories are sharp yet vague to me. I drew a map of our journey. I remember writing in a strange language, Tibetan perhaps? We studied four different philosophies. It is all here.
My Tibetan writings translated here:
“Thy name is on my lips
Thy image is in my eyes
Thy memory is in my heart
To whom shall I write?”

Very envious- I am sure this has been incredible. Nice spread- it has an old map feel to it.
This is an AMAZING spread Brian, and I love the story behind it. The colors and ‘foreign’ text have so much richness and mystery too =-)
I feel as if I am on the streets of Cairo or Tangiers when looking at your work or maybe even Kazakhstan. Love the colors and the layers and the water message.
So splendid to see the abundance of yummy, colorful, sensuous, beautiful fruit-of-labor-and-creativity parading right in front of us, post by post, for us all to feast on.
You have been prolific my friend!
Oh, Brian …. stunning!
