You will always find in my art something grungy, this comes from my father. You will also always find something of nature and this comes from my mother. When I was very young my father would take me to junk yards, I always loved rusty, crusty things with history and patina. As I have said before I have been out in the garden from as far back as I could remember. From my mother I get my love of nature, the outdoors, water, plants, earth. It is all me, it is all in here. It is in everything I do. And I love it.
This spread is from another one of Orly’s fabulous classes. As always click on the image for a larger view.
Something grungy, manly, something nature, feminine…I love that balance, to seek it and find it..XOXO
Balanced, both you and your pages. These are absolutely lovely. I wish I had done them.
Love the textures and the hidden images…beautiful.
I feel the two sides are reaching to touch each other to seek a sense of balance 🙂
Beautiful, balanced spread! It is like America and Europe touching each other… Greetings from all over the ocean – Marit
Gorgeous, contrasting pages. The perfect duo!
