“The Company of Men”
12 September, 2011
9″X7″ Visual Journal
Paint, crackle paste, ink, vintage images and personal photos.
One of my earliest memories growing up in Montana I have of my Dad is climbing upon his lap after he came home from work to give him a kiss on his cheek and to feel the stubble of his beard. I remember my Dad’s sense of humor. My father was very artistic and talented. My father passed away when I was in my teens. Every day I think of my father and appreciate his artistic encouragement.
Shining!!! I love it…
Yeah…memories of fathers are so profound..
I felt like this was a very personal journal entry and I had invaded your privacy. Love the crackle paste!
What a lovely tribute to your father Brian – it’s clear the artistic acorn did not fall far from the creative tree =-)
Such personal memories always make for a wonderful page.
Such a nice way to connect precious memories and brilliant colors.
