“The Choices We Make”
9″X7″ Visual Journal
07 September, 2o11
Vintage paper and photos, image transfer, layers of life paper, paint, ink, Adirondack sprays.
I make choices about my life every single day. I think about our generation and we have so much freedom in our choices. What about our parents choices or sacrifices, our grandparents? Our great-grandparents? What would their lives be like if they were our age and alive today? I love to look at pictures of my relatives from the past. I love to look into their eyes. So many photos of my relatives from the past have so much soul and character to them. I wonder what were their lives like, what were they like as people?
Also a reminder about my Journalfest class, Layers of Life. Journalfest is quickly approaching and classes are filling fast!
Absolutely, beautiful words. Aren’t we fortunate to be able to make choices…though at times I think we may have too many, that our forefathers had simpler lives. Beautiful visual sentiments here Brian.
I am so looking forward to be spending time with you and journaling friends at Journalfest next month.
