I am happy to help support my wonderful friend Orly Avineri to support her in the release of her amazing, beautiful new book One Artist Journal and participate in her Blog Hop to help launch her new book. Orly has turned her amazing blog http://oneartistjournal.com/ into a book. Imagine if you will holding her blog in your hands, you can actually see the amazing detail and depth of the images and read her insightful blog postings. Each word seems to be carefully chosen.
I was happy to be one of the first to receive her book, and to be able to hold it in my hands and carefully read each page. In my opinion Orly’s revolutionary book is going to change how art journaling is presented and viewed. This is an amazing art book. It is very intimate as if you are looking in Orly’s personal art journal. These pages are sooo lush. So dense with imagery and powerful words, intimate words. Viewing her blog it is easy miss the amazing details and depth of her artwork, here you can enjoy each and every spread and post. I found the book to be very moving. It is going to create a shift in thought about art journaling. Folks are going to want to see more artist’s blogs and works turned into books.

Great review. It would get me to buy the book…but I already had!
Wonderful Post!! It is so true that a book format is so much more personal and intimate way of being with Orly’s artwork. I am in complete agreement that books such as these are changing and transforming art journaling. I think also it is so encouraging to all artists to share their visions. Orly Avineri is a pioneer in so many ways! 😀
Love her idea of blog hopping too! Lots of fun!
