1001 Journals – Spread 1
25 April 2012
Vintage and personal papers, matte medium, acrylic paint, ink, Signo white gel pen, Micron black pens.
This is my spread for Teesha Moore’s journal 5362 for the 1001 Journals project. The 1001 Journals Project is a continuation of the 1000 Journals Project. They send out a 1000+ journals for folks to put entries in and pass around. This is Teesha’s journal which came to me via Orly Avineri. I am so happy to have an entry in there. It is wonderful to contruibute to something creative that is bigger than one artist and is part of a larger community. If you get a chance to see the 1000 Journals Project it travels around the country. Look for it in your city.

How cool, Brian! Your pages are wonderful, as always – the colors, everything! And to be part of Teesha’s project – awesome!
Wow, sounds like an amazing project! I really love this spread–probably my favorite of yours that I’ve seen. Beautiful lifework and color!
Really happy page! Love the colors AND the project!
Really great, Brian. I love the whole spread. The eyes are great….everything is so fun to survey!
Stunning! I adore this page! I could spend a tremendous amount of time with this spread. Inspiring as always!
Marvelous spread Brian! I too heard of 1001 journals, I even signed up on the forum/website once but I haven’t been there in a long time… I couldn’t quite figure out what it was all about and how it all worked… I might want to give it another try someday soon
Sensational Brian. So many details and so much to look at. Love it!
Your journals are wild and crazy. They’re very loose and full of energy. Beautiful and fantastic artwork.
I am just finding my way to your blog- oh my! Fabulous work!
I am really glad to see a man doing some art journaling for a change!
This is amazing! I love it!
