Long about this time of year it happens for me, a restlessness about spring and warm weather, and planting. It is also restlessness to work in my journal in my favorite space, my backyard. Stirrings in my soul. Do you feel it too?
Fascinating pages. So many layers and details to explore here.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SPREAD!
So interesting…. Love the intensity of color….
yes, love the color and the native figure. I will tune into this when i take a class from Orly in sept in Bantry Ireland Brian. I can’t wait.
Your journaling is super!
Brian ~ your work constantly pulls me in and begs me to sit and stay and wander around. Thank you for sharing your honesty and gorgeous talent!
I am back to look at this spread. You really have accomplished a great one here, Brian!
This image of the boy is “soul stirring”….influencing my mood. There is something about that boy that feels universal, something tender, and something harsh. Needy yet defiant. It’s rare that we can express our contradictions so genuinely like you did here. Noticed how the ‘boy’ springs out from the foggy background…Springs out..XOXO
Your ‘boy’ is moving me…
Everything about this spread is wonderful. The background supports the beautiful image so nicely. You were really able to express all your feelings.
I’m so drawn to this figure you’ve created. the red details, his expression, the contouring of his shape…
so expressive and wonderful. xo
