Halloween ATC – Back
15 October 2012
Vintage papers and personal papers, matt medium, gloss varnish, Tim Holtz distress ink, Sigano black gel pen.
We decided upon a Halloween theme for our October Gentlemen’s ATC group. As I get older the things that scare me become less abstract and more real. The current political climate, loss of freedom. What do YOU fear?
Have a safe Halloween!

This is a COOL ATC you are sharing here Brian! Love the theme of ‘fear’ too…
I too have fear with the current political climate, compounded with the climate of fear being created by what so many perceive as a ‘recession’ (but is really just GREED with corporations) that is creating a new form of slavery, in my opinion, but a more insidious form of it…in the workplace! EEEK!!!
But we DO have power to effect CHANGE, whether for the country ( by voting), or for ourselves by making choices that FEED our soul, instead of starve it =-) Happy Halloween to you Brian!
Hi Brian. I have the ATC right in front of me. The crackle and the random painting together are so effective. I love the texture. I want to know Monica. She is right on with her statement above. Your fears are mine, too, Brian. Can’t wait for Tuesday to be over with. I just hope that Referendum 74 passes in Washington state. The tide must change and it will. I just want it now as the waiting is taking a toll. Happy Halloween to you! Did you see Google’s celebration today?
I just love this Brian,
Rich in texture and wonderful creepiness! And ditto John- can’t wait for this hateful election to be over.
The combination of the happy colors, the clown’s expression and the fear question comes together to make this a very intense ATC. Love it!
